"Promoting Justice and Integrity"

My name is Stephen Jones. I recently retired from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office after 41 years of extensive service with 3 different Law Enforcement Agencies.
I was honored to serve 24 years with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office (The largest county in the United States). My Law Enforcement career continued as I served 7 Years with the Colorado Department of Corrections. (at two of our local facilities). I also had the privilege to serve Fremont County for 10.5 years at the Sheriff’s Office.
I am a conservative Christian, married to Lynda (the love of my life for 41 years). I am a proud father of 4 beautiful girls and grandfather to 9 outgoing grandchildren.
My patriotic roots run deep within the Law Enforcement and military community, through a long family history.
I stand for the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Colorado, which protect every American's inalienable rights.
During my Law Enforcement career, I have maintained Police Officer Standards and Training Certificates for the States of California and Colorado. In addition, I was certified as a Colorado Department of Corrections Officer and worked at the Buena Vista and Territorial prison facilities.
My long-term law Enforcement experience includes:
(The largest Police Labor Organization in the United States.)
Please, allow me to share some personal values with you:
President John F. Kennedy’s quote in his inaugural speech in January 1961 truly impacted my life.
He said:
“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”
This statement embodies a servant/leader’s heart and mind.
This heart posture reflects my belief system as well.
As I ask for your support, I commit to upholding the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics, which has carried me this far.
I count on your prayers and support as I run this race in Authentic Humility and Integrity before God and Fremont County.
Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
